Are you looking for a class that is not offered? Are the scheduled times not convenient for you and your child? Then we invite you to Design Your Own Class!

Talk to your friends, neighbors, and relatives and get a group of children together to form a class. With 5 or more students of the same age and ability group, you get to design your own class by telling us the dance, day, and time. We will do everything we can to make your class happen!

If you do not have a group big enough to design your own class but would like to see a specific class or a specific day and time offered, please call, stop by, or use our contact form to add your name to our class request list. We will be adding new classes to our schedule throughout the year.

Class Definitions

Jazz dance incorporates techniques and steps from a variety of dance styles. Students will focus on rhythm and learn the foundations of jazz as they explore different aspects of this dance from classic and contemporary to theatrical and lyrical.

Hip Hop is a fast, high-energy, street style dance often seen in music videos. Students will learn to take the latest moves and combine it with their personal style.

Dancesport Standard class consists of exercises plus training in the International Standard style of dance. The focus of this class will be based on syllabus figures. Standard classes teach students to dance in partnership. Dances taught include the waltz, foxtrot, tango, two step, swing, and quickstep.

Dancesport Latin class consists of exercises plus training in the International Latin style of dance. The focus of this class will be based on syllabus figures. Latin classes focus on the partner dances of cha cha, rumba, salsa, merengue, mambo, and samba.

Tiny Dancers - Children are introduced to creative movement and music. They are encouraged to explore their unique way of moving and to discover the joy found in dance self-expression. Techniques for enhancing flexibility and strength are introduced in a nurturing environment.. This is our introductory level class. It is open to any children ages 2 ½ - 5 regardless of experience level.

Ballet - Ballet builds self-confidence, good posture and strong limber muscles. Whether the student is dancing professionally, or just for recreation, ballet training will enable a student to explore their natural love of movement.

Lyrical - Lyrical is a style of Jazz Dance that features combinations of movement that emphasize the lyrical or melodic aspects of a song as opposed to percussive rhythms. Class combines the elements of ballet, hip hop and jazz.
