Robert Kacprzak (Kacper)
has been dancing/teaching for 20 years and competing worldwide, representing several countries including Poland, Switzerland and the United States. Kacper specializes in International Latin Style (Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive) and International Standard Style (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Quick Step).
During the past 10 years he has been competing professionally in all dance categories. Since 1998, Kacper has been highly involved in the dance community teaching students in several studios across California. He had the privilege to coach the Stanford Ballroom Dance Team for 2 years and has been involved in judging dance competitions. In 2000, he won the San Francisco Open Professional International Latin Competition. From 2000 to 2008 Robert has been training amateur and profesionnal dance teams.
In October 2007, Robert with his wife Sonia opened a full ballroom dance studio -- Dance Motion Studios -- located in Carmel Mountain Ranch, in northern San Diego. Currently Robert is training advance, intermediate, beginner, amateur and professional teams as well as singles.
Yelena Asnis
Yelena is originally from Moldova where she began dancing at the age of 7. She trained in Ballroom and Latin Dance. Yelena became a professional dancer at the age of 16, which made her one of the youngest competitors on the dance floor. Yelena has been teaching for ten years. She has worked for Wayne Foster Entertainment for two years performing for many corporate events and celebrities such as Shaquille O’ Neil, Billy Blanks and Brooke Shields. Yelena also performed on Latin Movie Awards as well as for Bob Barker from “The Price is Right.” Yelena trained under Mary Murphy for many years and professionally competed with Mary’s husband. Mrs. Murphy is currently a judge on FOX’s hit show “So You Think You Can Dance.” Yelena received her bachelor’s degree from SDSU in Gerontology in 2006 and applied her knowledge in working and volunteering in hospitals and assisted living centers. Yelena loves her dancing profession and enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels.

Sara Orbita
Currently she is the head coach, founder and director of the CCHS/Uni Dance Team in San Diego. This will be her 8th year as the head dance coach for this organization. Prior to coach for Cathedral Catholic High School, she had danced for various companies, studios and organizations. Credits include: San Diego Ballet conservatory, SD Park & Rec, San Diego Dance Centre, TS Body Arts, Academy of Performing Arts, back up dancer for local artists, MTV Productions: NSync’s Becoming, Mesa Dance company, 220, UFX, Mel7, NYR, DOC and Disney. Sara has choreographed for numerous high schools up and down the California Coast and charitable organizations such as MADCAPS for a couple years now. Among events, she has directed and organized CCHS’ successful annual dance concert every year, was a main chair in FUSION: one of Southern California’s biggest Hip Hop Competitions, assisted with Body Rock Hip Hop Dance competition (Before there was ABDC) with Consensus Entertainment, is the Executive Director for Out Reach Through Dance with the Make a Wish Foundation, has assisted in a number of Disney’s company events, and assisted in several theater productions backstage. Sara has joined Dance Motion Studios in 2007 and is the head coach for Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop.
Jennifer Arnspiger-Ryan
Jennifer began her career as a ballroom and latin dance instructor with Fred Astaire Dance Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona in 1994. Since then, she has taught across the country and worked closely with many of the highest caliber dancers in the industry. Jennifer has taken students to competitions around the world to dance solos, showcases and school figures leveled Bronze to Full Gold; she has competed with professional partners and performed in showcase events internationally in Smooth, Rythm and Theatre Arts. She specializes in American style Smooth and Rythm, both social and competitive, wedding choreography, country western dancing, showcase productions and theatre arts. Her passion for competitions and showcases is matched by an ability to make good dancing both accessible and fun--even for brand new students.
Ashley Duke
Ashley Duke has been dancing for over 20 years. She began her Classical Ballet training at age 8 by the Inland Pacific Ballet Company. There, she performed in the company's annual performances such as Les Sylphides, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Midsummer Nights Dream, and Graduation Ball, as well as IPB's annual summer intensive programs. In 2001, Ashley began teaching dance classes to share her passion with dance enthusiasts and pre-professionals of all ages, and continues to do so today. In 2007, she earned her Bachelors degree in Liberal studies from California State University of San Bernadino.

Ruben “Fusion” Monet As a choreographer, Ruben “Fusion” Monet has had the pleasure of working with Diana Ross, Missy Elliott, P. Diddy, Sisqo, Jermaine Dupre, Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, Lil Kim, Mary Mary, Apple Ipod Commercials, Tap Sensation Savion Glover, Lauren Silva, MTV VMA Awards, BET Awards, Showtime at the Apollo, Germany’s Bravo Awards, The U.K.’s “Top of the Pops,” “Concert in the Park,” and more! As a performer he has shared his style with Beyonce, Tyrese, Ludacris, Ja Rule, Nelly, Faith Evans, Will Smith, Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, Stevie Wonder, P.Diddy, Missy Elliott, and others. He’s shared his teaching in Japan, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Canada, Mexico, as well as top studios in L.A., Edge Performing Arts Center, and Millennium Dance Complex. He’s taught at countless colleges as well as S.D.S.U., and is currently on the staff at Palomar College in North County. He has proudly brought his experience, knowledge, and philosophy with him back home to San Diego and recently joined Dance Motion Studios staff. “I enjoy working and representing the positive side of the hip-hop culture thru dance,” Fusion says. He teaches youth and adult hip hop classes and recently formed Dance Motion Studios Performance Hip Hip Team.
