GENERAL POLICIES

There are no refunds.

Group classes and instructors are subject to change at the discretion of management.

An hour of instruction equals 45 minutes.

A course may be cancelled or postponed if less than six students are enrolled.

To avoid being charged in full, 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of private lessons.

All private lessons are 45 minutes long. Neither the choice of a teacher nor a private room is guaranteed. Typically, the space is shared with other private lesson students who may be learning other styles of dance and playing other styles of music. Different music may be rotated on an equal and shared basis.

The fee for a bounced check is $30.

Only one discount/special may be applied at a time.

One FREE Private lesson credit is given to the referring student for a close referral of a new student.

PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES

A Private Lesson guarantees optimal individual attention from an instructor. However, you are NOT guaranteed a private room. Studio is typically shared with other Private Lessons taking place. The music is also shared on an equal basis.

The pricing of Private Lessons is based on one or two students participating. If a lesson has more than two students, it is a Semi-Private. Please ask for Semi-Private Lesson Rates at the Front Desk.

Each lesson is 45 minutes and is by appointment only. It is recommended that you book your lesson at least one week in advance in order to secure your desired day and time. Every lesson must be paid for in ADVANCE. When you arrive for your lesson, please check-in at the front desk first and initial your Private Lesson to the appropriate date.

To ensure that the instructor of your choice is available, you may schedule a Standing Lesson. A Standing Lesson means you will have the same day and time with your instructor every week. This lends to continuity of learning, as well as a simplified schedule. Standing Lessons can only be made when a student is on a package of four, ten or twenty lessons. If a Standing Lesson is cancelled two or more times within a month, you risk forfeiting your standing day and time.

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all Private Lessons whether you have a Standing Lesson or not. If it becomes necessary to cancel your appointment, we must hear from you at least 24 hours before that lesson in order to avoid charging you for that lesson. If you cancel on the day of your lesson; a lesson will be deducted from your Private Lesson Package. If you purchased a Single Lesson and cancel the day of the booking; that lesson will be charged and you will have to pre-pay for a new lesson.

Each Private Lesson Package has an expiration date.

YOUTH TUITION POLICY

Absolutely NO REFUNDS on paid tuition or missed classes.

Automatic Bill Pay is required for payment of tuition.

Tuition is based on the number of class hours taken per week during a class session. Tuition is a fixed rate that does not change based on the number of weeks per month, holiday closures, or absences.

Visiting Days – Parents may watch class on the first lesson of each month only and ONLY at the instructor’s discretion. All other times, the window blinds will remain closed. Do not interrupt or distract a class while in session unless in a safety or emergency situation.

Students are expected to be early to class. For all children’s classes, students are asked to wait outside of the classroom until the teacher or assistant has invited them into class. For older students, if the classroom is available for warm up time, we encourage you to quietly warm up in the class…as long as another class is NOT in session.

If your child needs to wait for a ride, we insist that students wait inside the dance studio area for safety purposes, as we are not able to control situations which occur outside of our business doors.

MAKE-UP POLICY

Families are responsible for the full session’s tuition, regardless of attendance. Students are encouraged to make-up the class they have missed. Missed classes are non-transferable and will not be applied to the next session.

TUITION AND CLASS CANCELLATION

No refunds on paid tuition or missed classes. One month’s WRITTEN notice prior to terminating enrollment is required or TUITION WILL BE CHARGED. WE WILL NOT TAKE VERBAL CANCELLATIONS! A CANCELLATION NOTICE MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING.

* Family Discount: Class series tuition is calculated upon a per person amount. Families with more than one registered member will receive an additional 15% off total family tuition.

* Registration and Fees: Students register once per year. A non-refundable registration fee must be included with the completed and signed registration form. There are additional fees for participation in Studio showcases, performance costumes, competitions, and other special classes, programs and performances.
